Helping flooded areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The floods and landslides left many areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia in 2014 damaged. States of emergency had been declared in parts of Bosnia and Serbia after the heaviest rain and worst floods since records began 120 years ago. Wave volunteers offered their services to the organizations helping the flooded areas as soon as the first wave of aid started. With the help of churches from Croatia Wave volunteers from Tuzla delivered help to the most needy in Maglaj, Zvornik, as well as a refugee camp in Živinice in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Wave Projects is reaching out to the elderly

Waves of serving projects in Tuzla are continuing to spread in the institutions that need the most help. Simple acts of service such us birthday celebrations, workout sessions, discussion groups, creative workshops, dancing sessions, organized visits to disabled elderly people living in the institution are only one part of Wave activities in the institution. Through simple acts of kindness we are influencing and changing the lives of elderly people.

Constructing a fountain in the school for children with different needs

Wave projects volunteers are working on creating a peaceful and enjoyable environment in the yard of the school for children with different needs. Peaceful environment is especially important for autistic children who are attending the school.

In spring 2016 Tuzla Wave team was proud to finish a two year project of building the fountain.

Wave is an initiative that organizes serving projects in needy communities in Europe and beyond.
