Wave teams were planning to slow down our program during the summer… but it’s impossible!

Wave teams in different countries were working hard to make “the slowest” possible program over the summer break (August and the beginning of September). However, after we checked our “slowed” schedules, we realized that Wave will have programs in 7 countries; will work with around 200 participants in different programs; teams from two new countries will come to Wave Center in Tuzla to learn about Wave programs, so that they can organize it in their countries; Wave team members will be active in other projects; Wave team will visit several countries to present Wave program; orphanage team will continue to work with kids in orphanage and Wave humanitarian program will continue to collect gifts for Africa, Pakistan and the kids in orphanage. We hope that all Wave team members will enjoy their “slow” summer.

Wave Open Program Tour

This summer Wave Open Program with prof. Meic Pearse took place in several countries in the Balkans. Prof. Meic Pearse got his doctorate on Oxford University and now teaches in Hougton College, NY where he leads honors program “East Meets West”. His most famous book is “Why the rest hates the West” and it was presented in front of the US president and the senate. During the Open Program Tour dr. Pearse held lectures on various topics (education, politics and reconciliation) which led to long lasting discussions and new ideas. We are already planning the next tour with a different speaker this fall.

Wave is an initiative that organizes serving projects in needy communities in Europe and beyond.
