Tuzla 2012 Wave Gathering

Wave Projects organized annual gathering of Wave volunteers, team members, partners and friends from Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Poland, Romania, Russia, and the UK. The topic of the gahtering was Leadership Today. 

During the gathering Wave teams and friends served in educational programs, open programs, team meetings, visits to the orphanage, house groups as well as participated in the church services. Stay tuned from more Wave news.

Intensive Wave in Subotica 2012 is over

The biggest intensive Wave program so far just finished! The biggest number of participants and the local team were part of Intensive Wave program in Subotica 2012.

This year’s program, besides education free of charge, also included serving in the local orphanage, the school for children with special needs and an organization for children who have impaired hearing. The stories of children with various backgrounds and problems (children who are in many cases, besides medical problems, in poverty below poverty line) all sharing the common need – need to stop being marginalized and given ability to be loved and to be included in the society. Wave visited those institutions, collected contributions from the participants and started forming teams that will serve in those institutions regularly.

The final countdown to annual intensive program in Serbia

In only 20 days Wave intensive program in Subotica, Serbia is about to take place. It is the fourth consecutive intensive program in Serbia. We are expecting the biggest number of participants so far. Our Serbian team is working at full speed on preparations. Stay tuned for more Wave news from Serbia! 

Wave program in the UK

Three Wave board members were meeting in the UK in the summer 2013 where they discussed plans for Wave in 2013. During that time there were  presentations, open house days and lectures about Wave ministry. Wave is a project that is focused on serving local communities in the east as well as the west! Wave weekend courses in Croatia 2012!

For over five years Wave Projects is organizing educational programs and today is active in more than 20 countries in two continents. Until now Wave organized projects in university cities and many smaller places are waiting to organize Wave programs. In June 2012 we organized a pilot project in Cerna, Croatia, the first small place where Wave organized a project. The project took place in the local church. 

German Course in Tuzla, Bosnia

More and more educational projects are taking place in Wave Tuzla! From May 2012 we started a small, two weeks long, educational project that went parallel with all other projects taking place in Tuzla. We had only around 50 participants and a small team of 8 volunteers. For the first time we had volunteers from Switzerland. It was an amazing new project that Wave will continue organizing in the coming years.

Guests from Poland 2012!

Each year Wave in Bosnia has guests, team members and teams from various countries visiting educational and serving projects in Tuzla, Bosnia. Tuzla is the center of Wave activities and this year we’re starting with another pilot project that serves as an example of service to local communities to Wave programs in other countries and continents. In June 2012 we had guests in Tuzla Wave from Poland and during their visit we had regular activities in educational programs and serving in orphanage where our guests participated. During their visit we had a “Polish evening” with national dishes, music and multimedia presentations.

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? – Intensive pilot educational program is about to start!

Wave Projects is organizing another intensive educational program from 5th May to 16th May 2012. During the program we will have guests and volunteers from various countries. It is another project through which we serve the needs in our community. Stay tuned for news in the coming weeks!

Lady’s breakfast: Healthy Self-esteem Lecture

Wave is organizing a gathering for women. A guest lecturer is Sandra Sharp. During the gathering we’ll discuss how to build healthy self-esteem and what is a basis for it. The gathering will take place on Saturday 16^th in Wave Center at 10AM.

Open Program with Nolan Sharp “Knowing self and others: a key to successful communication”

Nolan Sharp, USA/Croatia will teach a two day lecture “Knowing self and others: a key to successful communication”.

The lecture includes a personality test that discusses strengths and weaknesses of various personalities as well as how to understand and relate to people who are different that you. The lectures are taking place at 16:30 and 19:00 on Friday and Saturday. 

5 years of Wave Projects!

Recently we organized an intensive project that first started 5 years ago in Tuzla, Bosnia. It started as community school of English that served in divided community and gathered participants from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds.

Today, Wave Projects are organizing various intensive projects, open programs, educational programs, lectures and workshops, serving projects in orphanages, conferences, etc. in Europe and Africa. Project that started in Eastern Europe is now spreading its ideas of serving communities through local churches in over 18 countries in Europe and Africa; as well as gathering volunteers from 21 countries. It is amazing to look back to where we started and to see where Wave has gone today. It is truly a miracle!

Wave Intensive project in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina

5^th intensive project in Tuzla has recently finished and it was the biggest intensive project so far! Every year we think that it’s the highest limit of the number of participants and team members we can accommodate – and so far every year we managed to push another limit!

It was an amazing experience with the biggest host team and with the biggest number of participants. Wave Intensive project 2012 is only the beginning of this year’s program in Tuzla. Stay tuned for more news from Wave projects taking place in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Wave team members from 7 countries, the biggest host team and the biggest number of participants who applied for the project are only the beginning of 2012 intensive project in Tuzla, Bosnia!  

For over a month the host team has been intensively working on the preparations for Wave project that will start in five days. Stay tuned for news and initiatives coming out from the serving project that is about to start!
